Hitman the Slot Bonus Games

Posted on January 14, 2020

Hitman was a very successful video game that came out a number of years ago. It spawned a few sequels, some merchandise, and the Hitman slot from MicroGaming. The slot plays out over five reels and fifteen paylines. It is not a progressive slot, but it does have a pretty nice fixed jackpot and decent bonus rounds. Hitman has been designed to play not only on desktop pc in online casinos, but also smart devices which means that it is mobile.

The slot is easy to find, simply search using either your web browser or your app store. If using your web browser, you will probably not have to download anything onto you device, and can simply access it using Flash. This does mean that you have to access the casino each and every time you want to play, which could be a pain. If you use your app store, you will most likely down load the app to your device, which means that it is always there, and easily accessible. You will have to have free space to download it too though.

Dark Sinister Feel

The slot does a very good job of reproducing the video game, with genuine graphics from the game including a colour scheme that is pretty much black white and red. The sounds match the overall feel, with muted clicks and creepy music that makes you feel like you are lurking in the shadows with the Hitman, waiting to take someone out. The graphics are sharp and very modern, again looking as good as the video game itself. The reels are set against a plain black background that sets the tone and makes the various symbols stand out in stark relief.

Hitman Symbols

The symbols in the game are all theme based, with nothing from the deck of playing cards. The lowest paying symbols are weapons, like a knife, garrottes, guns, sniper rifles, pistols, lethal injections and machine guns. There are also a number of special symbols to look out for which all animate.

The wild symbol is the Hitman himself, holding a pair of crossed guns. This will replace any other symbol in the game except the bonus and the scatter. He is an expanding wild too, so when he is found on reels two, three and four, he expands to cover the entire reel. When hit, he animates into a scene where he can be seen cleaning his guns. The scatter is a red circle with the number 18 inside, signifying the amount of free spins that you will receive should you find three or more of them anywhere on the reels. The two bonus symbols are the Laptop and the Insignia, found on lines three, four and five and one, two and three respectively. These launch one of the two bonus games.

Hitman Bonus Games

The bonus games are the biggest draw to Hitman version of casino slots. There are two of them, and both can result in some pretty decent cash. The first is the Insignia Bonus game that is not surprisingly launched by the Insignia bonus icon. Once launched you are taken to a screen where you have to choose between different Insignia icons, each hiding a different bonus. The Contract Bonus Game is launched by three laptop symbols, and is also a second screen game. Here you are presented with a mission briefing, which gives you five potential targets, each one with different payouts. You the pick a weapon to pair with the target, and if the weapon is correct, Voila! You win!
